Children are our future.  The Club not only provides after school care for many of our children, but it is a safe place for them to receive academic support, emotional nurturing, and consistent care.  These things help build better futures for the children, but also impacts our families, community employers and community.  I am proud to be on the Board and am excited for all we do and all that we grow and will grow!

I see every day how strong communities are built through people who care and give back. I believe every child deserves a safe, supportive place to learn, grow and belong. Boys and Girls Club of Capital Area is exceptional at providing that structure and encouragement. It’s inspiring to be part of an organization that helps kids build character, confidence, and a bright future.

Serving on the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area is an honor.  The Club is so important for the Pierre/Ft Pierre communities…keeping kids safe, helping them learn valuable life skills and building a foundation for caring, community-minded adults. It also gives parents peace of mind knowing their children are safe and supported while having fun.  I am proud of the leadership and the impact this vital organization has on our community.
