The list below shows all the options available to Club members showing why they will never not be physically or mentally stimulated while attending the Boys and Girl’s Club of the Capital Area. And while we can’t say we do each and every one of these activities every single day, we do strive to expose our members to as much as we possibly can. You never know when something is going to spark curiosity, and possibly talent, and make a child want to learn more.
The Club also strongly promotes community volunteerism by its members. So far this year, the members have given back over 500 hours of community service through volunteering.

Community Outreach
- Trips to Edgewood to interact with residents
- Feeding SD to help pack food boxes and bag fruit or vegetables
- Built and donated garden boxes for Peaceful Pines to put in their courtyard
- Made tie blankets for the cancer patients at the Helmsley Center
- Sewed pillowcases and donated pillow to Sleep in Heavenly Peace with the help of a parent donation of pillows
- Donated gift bags of bath bombs, homemade candles, cards of encouragement, and notes of inspiration to the Helmsley Center
