Every day at the Club we strive to give children a safe environment with caring adults and valuable learning experiences that help them find their own unique passions. The future of our community (and world) is in their hands, and the Club is making that future greatER each and every day.

I am a Husband, Father and a LIFELONG champion for children. In my spare time you will find me following my 5 children around the state as they participate in their various passions. I love to Fish, Hunt and do things outside in this great state of South Dakota. I am passionate about my work involving children and their safety and growth as we try to make Better Tomorrow’s for them and this wonderful world we live in. I have been at the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area since 2020. Before then I was in Law Enforcement for 22 Years, part of that time I was the Pierre School District SRO for 8 school years.

I come to the Boys and Girls Club with years of experience in many different forms. I was in the classroom for 20 years, but specifically as an after school Program Director for 13 years. I have also been a mom for 20 years to my three teenage kids. Being the Director of Programs and Youth Development allows me to focus on fun, hands-on, real-world experiences for the club kids, all the while incorporating as many community partners as possible to achieve the best possible exposure and learning experience for our members. One of our biggest focus points is teaching the kids to give back to the community that supports them. We are blessed to have such a giving community and we strive to continue building that stewardship in our youth. Pierre/Ft. Pierre needs our Club kids!
